MEET MICHELLE
Michelle Thompson, M.S., R.SLP, CCC-SLP is the founder of Aspen Pediatric Speech & Language Services. Michelle has 15 years experience in a variety of pediatric settings including providing speech and language services in daycares, preschools, and elementary school programs. She has both diagnostic and therapeutic experience working on a multidisciplinary team and treating a variety of speech-language challenges.
Michelle is proficient in conducting speech and language screenings, diagnostic speech-language evaluations, writing Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals for speech and language, and most importantly providing a therapy plan that includes active involvement from a child’s family and school. Michelle provides parent training programs and believes that it is an integral part of the therapy process.
Michelle is a graduate of the University of North Dakota where she majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders and received a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2001. Michelle is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is an active member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Michelle is the proud mother of two incredible children, Ella and Bennett. She is passionate about her work and understands the importance of children feeling successful. Michelle strives to help each child reach their full potential through her engaging and supportive therapy approach.
